We design products with principles and processes that range from DFE (design for experiences) to DFM (design for manufacturing).
Based on the insight we gain into the product and its broader context, the innovations big and small, we define what the desired product experiences will be, design all of their aspects, and follow-up all the way to the product launch.
We work with clients at any stage of the product development cycle, from concept design all the way to working with engineering and manufacturing firms.
- Concept design and rapid prototyping
- Product vision and strategy
- Product road maps
- Product line architecture
- Product definitions/requirements
- Industrial design
- Information architecture
- Interaction design
- Human factors and ergonomics
- Packaging, manuals, graphic design
- Inclusive (universal) design
We utilize a robust development process based on years of experience in managing complex projects. With our experience in a variety of environments, there are a few key guidelines that we have found to be essential to the success of projects: be flexible and adapt to the client's and the specific project's needs, don't stifle creativity (allow for chaos when needed), and keep it simple (but not simpler).
Working with ODMs and CMs
Our team has extensive relationships and experience working with most of the Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) and Contract Manufacturers (CM) in the US, Taiwan, and China. We can help clients in taking products all the way from a paper concept to manufactured products.
